Immediately visit car on display - flooded by congratulatory phone calls
ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., Oct. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- For the fourth consecutive year, Maserati supported the Columbus Citizens Foundation with unique display and raffle in the main hall of New York's Grand Central Station. This year featured a 2011 GranTurismo Convertible outfitted in Bordeaux with a sand hued leather interior. Spanning the first 15 days of October a raffle was held for the four seat convertible with 400 tickets quickly sold out at $1000 each. The winning ticket was selected at a closing ceremony. Upon hearing of the win, Pardo came directly to the display, then to the newly opened Tribeca dealership, Maserati of Manhattan, with husband Michael Toonkel. According to Pardo "The Maserati really is like a work of art, so beautiful. As members of the Columbus Citizens Foundation, we have always admired Maserati's participation in the charity. We have received so many congratulatory phone calls from friends who admired it while on display. We thank Maserati and the Foundation."
The Maserati GranTurismo Convertible
A modern heir to generations of open-air Maseratis, the GranTurismo Convertible best exemplifies the pillars of the modern House of the Trident: Design, Craftsmanship, Comfort and Performance.
While comfortably seating four adults, a triple insulated soft top maintains the GranTurismo coupe's iconic roofline while preserving the vehicle's already low center of gravity, optimal weight distribution and precise handling. As in all Maseratis, the V8 engine is compact and placed behind the front axle, resulting in an extraordinarily balanced automobile which inspires confidence in its pilot.
The GranTursimo Convertible enables the owner to select from a vast array of colors, materials and trim in order to commission a Maserati which suits individual tastes.
The Columbus Citizens Foundation
The Columbus Citizens Foundation is a non-profit organization in New York City that provides financial aid to deserving students from elementary school through graduate school levels and organizes events that promote Italian-American heritage and culture.
