Winners Announced for Cassidy Turley's #LiveWorkPlay Photo Contest
Participants from Baltimore, Indianapolis and Los Angeles Submit Best Photos Displaying Why Their Cities are Great Places to #LiveWorkPlay
WASHINGTON, Oct. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Cassidy Turley, a leading commercial real estate services provider in the U.S., announces today the winners of the firm's #LiveWorkPlay photo contest.
Over the summer, Cassidy Turley asked clients and their friends and families to submit photos and a brief description detailing what makes their city a great place to #LiveWorkPlay. Participants submitted original photos via Instagram, Twitter at @CassidyTurleyRE or e-mail for an opportunity to win a $2,500 charitable contribution to the community organization of their choice.
The following individuals submitted this year's winning photos:
- Ryan Fitzwater, Financial Research Associate at The Oxford Club in Baltimore, whose photo captured coworkers enjoying a summer day in Baltimore's historic Mount Vernon neighborhood. Mr. Fitzwater's affiliated nonprofit is The Roberto Clemente Santa Ana Health Clinic, which is based in Maryland and provides free health care at a clinic in Nicaragua.
- Mark Dickhaus of Indianapolis, whose photo captured the Indianapolis skyline juxtaposed against holiday fireworks. Mr. Dickhaus' affiliated community organization is Indianapolis' Progress House, which has provided a recovery setting for people with substance abuse problems for more than 50 years.
- Jack Hileman, President of Hileman Real Estate Cos. in Los Angeles, whose photo provides a view of the Los Angeles skyline from the Stahl House in the Hollywood Hills. Mr. Hileman's affiliated nonprofit organization is the Geffen Playhouse's educational outreach program, which reaches out to students attending the lowest performing and most economically challenged area high schools and engages them on a variety of creative and cultural levels.
"We launched the #LiveWorkPlay contest to highlight Cassidy Turley's focus on the importance of local-market and community leadership and engagement," said Joseph Stettinius, CEO of Cassidy Turley. "We received an overwhelming response and some truly great photos. And, most importantly, we engaged clients and their friends and families on a local, personal level and gave them the opportunity to promote their community as part of Cassidy Turley's broader effort to benefit hometown philanthropies."
