Winner Announced in Questia's Most Valuable Professor Competition
National Scholarship Contest Honors Stellar Academic Professionals
STAMFORD, Conn., May 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The winner of Questia's first ever Most Valuable Professor Competition was announced today, and the winner is Julia Corine Barnes from Berry College! Questia's MVP Competition allowed college students to recognize the professors who have had the biggest impact on their education. Student submissions were narrowed down to a group of finalists before a winner was voted on by the public through Questia's Facebook page.
In addition to receiving the title of MVP for Most Valuable Professor, Questia (www.questia.com), the premier online library and research tool for students, will create the Julia Corine Barnes Scholarship in which three students will each be awarded $2,500. As MVP, Barnes will be part of the integral team that determines the scholarship criteria and recipients.
