Window World and ABILITY Magazine Announce Semi-Finalists of WIN-WIN Indianapolis 500 Promotion
Five Regional Semi-Finalists and Military Veteran Chosen for Exclusive VIP Experience and Chance to Win $1 Million
NORTH WILKESBORO, N.C., May 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Window World, the nation's largest replacement window company, and ABILITY Magazine announced today the six semi-finalists who will receive a trip to the 100th anniversary of the Indianapolis 500. If Window World sponsor veteran driver John Andretti and the No. 43 Window World car cross the Indy 500 finish line first, one semi-finalist will win the $1 million grand prize.
More than 4,700 entries were received for the month-long WIN-WIN promotion which began April 1, including nearly 1,000 active duty or U.S. military veterans. The promotion's winners were selected from the Northeast, Southeast, West, Central and Great Plains regions, as well as one winner chosen from the category of Wounded Warrior, active duty or retired military. Each semi-finalist and a travel companion will receive a complimentary trip to the Indianapolis 500, including travel, accommodations and tickets to the race, as well as VIP access to other festivities the weekend of May 27.
The semi-finalists are: Kathryn Geiger (Northeast- Temperanceville, Va.), Carlos Hayes (Southeast- Hueytown, Ala.), Kristi Fisher (West- Thornton, Colo.), Geralyn Enriquez (Central- Houston, Texas), Sue Drake (Great Plains- Olathe, Kan.) and military veteran Gary Boltenhouse (Chillicothe, Ohio).
