Window Film Association Addresses International Builders' Show's Window Coverings Exchange Group
The International Window Film Association's Darrell Smith Speaks On How Window Covering Retailers Can Boost Their Sales With Window film
WASHINGTON, Feb. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Window Film Association (IWFA), a nonprofit trade group representing the many benefits of window film from leading manufacturers, distributors and dealers, will address an exclusive gathering of window covering executives at the International Window Covering Expo: VISION '14 on February 6th as part of the International Builders' Show taking place in Las Vegas February 4-6.
Darrell Smith, the executive director of the IWFA, will speak to the gathering of top window coverings retailers on how window film can be a profitable new product line and a 'win-win' business strategy by partnering with IWFA dealers.
"The window covering and attachments industry share a common purpose with the IWFA - to help consumers and commercial building managers to improve the look and comfort of their interior space and offer cost-effective solutions at the same time," said Darrell Smith, executive director of the IWFA. "We are excited and proud to share the many benefits of window films with this group," added Smith.
The window coverings retail executives will be attending the International Window Covering Expo, which includes a wide range of window treatments from blinds, to curtains to interior shutters. Window film is a complementary product that can help to reduce fading of window coverings and other furnishings in the interior space, save on energy costs and add a level of safety by helping to hold glass together in the event of breakage.
"We are delighted to have the IWFA talk to our top executive group and we are sure that Darrell Smith with his deep expertise in the window film industry will offer some amazing insights and tips," said Grace McNamara, President & CEO of Window Fashions VISION magazine and producers of the IWCE. "We are all looking forward to this," added McNamara.
