WinCo Foods Announces Opening of New Store In Duncanville, Texas

BOISE, Idaho, June 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- WinCo Foods LLC announced today that it will open its third discount supermarket in the State of Texas at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 26th.  The Duncanville store is located at 800 S. Cockrell Hill Road.  The store is approximately 89,500 square feet in size and includes a decor package that helps create an efficient, clean feel and that highlights the product and coordinates nicely with the hundreds of quality private label products the company continues to introduce.  The Duncanville store will initially employ approximately 170 individuals, 160 of which have been hired locally.

WinCo Foods is an employee owned discount grocery chain known primarily for being the "Supermarket Low Price Leader" in each market it serves.  Duncanville Store Manager, Chenille Oggs, transfers to the store from Lancaster, California, and has been with the company for nearly eight years.  Assistant Mangers are Emmanuel Augustine, Sean Hall and Jessica Starke. Chenille, her management team and the store employees are excited about opening the Duncanville store and are eager to assist new customers with a great combination of customer service and low pricing.  Chenille feels excitement for the new store building among potential customers in the community and says, "as employee owners, all of us here at WinCo look forward to giving Duncanville an exciting new shopping alternative that provides great pricing and a terrific customer experience for all of our new friends." 

The store features the "Wall of Values" at the entry, which displays a wide variety of high volume products with particularly good pricing.  The main sales floor of each store encompasses large fresh produce, bulk foods, meat, deli, seafood, and bakery service departments.  The unique bulk foods department allows customers to buy only the amounts they want and displays over 700 items, including many natural food products, some organics, snacks, candies, cereals, flours, pastas, spices and more.  We can't wait for customers to come in to check out our new store and to benefit from the everyday low pricing, great service and quality that WinCo Foods provides.
