LONDON, October 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
Honda has launched a #HondaPassport competition, offering one lucky winner the chance to create their dream journey worth £5,000. All users need to do to take part in the Twitter lead campaign is fill their Honda Passport with stamps by tweeting their photos, with #HondaPassport - it's that easy.
All images will be automatically uploaded to the content hub http://www.myjourneys.com/HondaPassport where participants will receive a stamp in their Honda Passport. There are 20 stamp categories to collect and the type of stamp received depends on the content of the snap. The stamp categories include family, food, hobbies, car, motorcycle, beach, city break and more.
The aim is to fill the virtual passport with as many stamps as possible; the more stamps received the better the chance of winning the £5,000 dream journey. In the first phase of the competition everyone can get involved and tweet their pictures - the more exciting and interesting, the better. Honda will then shortlist 10 passports and ask the public to vote and ultimately decide the winner.
The campaign itself is part of Honda's global #myjourney campaign which was inspired by Jon Hancock, a Honda customer, who travelled around the world with his wife in their 1987 Honda Civic. Eight years ago Jon's very own epic journey started, with the aim of travelling to his cars birth place of Suzuka, Japan. Over the last eight years John explored the world and experienced the diverse cultures, which culminated with him reaching his final destination at the Honda factory in Suzuka. Jon's epic journey is just one example of many inspirational journeys, and now Honda hope the #HondaPassport campaign, will encourage others to share and get involved too.
