Wright has joined the firm's antitrust practice as Senior Of Counsel in the Washington, D.C., office. Wright, who most recently served as a commissioner of the Federal Trade Commission and is one of the nation's leading scholars in antitrust law and consumer protection, is currently a professor of law and director of the Global Antitrust Institute at George Mason University. He was a member of the FTC from 2013 to 2015.

Wright was appointed to the FTC by President Obama and unanimously confirmed as a commissioner in 2013. He previously served the FTC in the Bureau of Competition as its inaugural scholar-in-residence from 2007 to 2008, where he focused on enforcement matters and competition policy. Wright's return to the FTC as a commissioner in 2013 marked his fourth stint at the agency, after also having served as an intern in the Bureau of Economics and the Bureau of Competition in 1997 and 1998, respectively. From 2009 to 2012, Joshua was a senior consultant at Charles River Associates, a global economic and financial consulting firm.
Wright earned his J.D. from UCLA in 2002 and a Ph.D. in economics from UCLA in 2003. He received his B.A. in economics with highest departmental honors from the University of California, San Diego, in 1998. From 2003 to 2005, he served a law clerk to the Honorable James V. Selna of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
