The 2013 partners-elect are:
Michael Coke, Corporate & Securities. Based in Palo Alto, Coke represents clients in connection with initial public offerings and other securities offerings, corporate governance and disclosure matters, mergers and acquisitions, venture-backed private financings, and secondary transactions. He received his J.D. from Stanford Law School in 1997.
Gary Greenstein, Intellectual Property. Based in Washington, D.C., Greenstein focuses on intellectual property, licensing, and commercial transactions, with specialized expertise in the digital exploitation of intellectual property. He received his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School in 1996.
Katherine Henderson, Litigation. Based in San Francisco, Henderson concentrates on the defense of publicly traded companies and their officers and directors in securities class actions, shareholder derivative suits, and mergers and acquisitions litigation. She received her J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2003.
Kira Kimhi, Intellectual Property. Based in Palo Alto, Kimhi specializes in representing technology companies in business transactions driven by the development, use, acquisition, or divestiture of intellectual property, including licensing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and public and private offerings. She received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1999.
Catherine Moreno, Litigation. Based in Palo Alto, Moreno focuses on securities litigation and counseling, including the defense of companies and their directors and officers in class actions, derivative lawsuits, and mergers and acquisitions litigation. She received her J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2001.
Sacha Ross, Corporate & Securities. Based in New York, Ross represents public and private companies in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions, and advises them on general corporate governance matters. In addition, he represents issuers, investors, and underwriters in public and private financings. Ross received his J.D. from Cornell Law School in 1999 and holds an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business.
Maya Skubatch, Intellectual Property. Based in Palo Alto, Skubatch concentrates on patent prosecution, strategic patent counseling, investor- and company-side due diligence, and license agreements for clients in the life sciences, medical device, and clean-fuel industries. She received her J.D. from the Santa Clara University School of Law in 2001.
Ryan Smith, Litigation. Based in Palo Alto, Smith focuses on patent litigation and other cases involving complex technology. He also evaluates patent portfolios and counsels companies on their intellectual property strategies. Smith received his J.D. from the New York University School of Law in 2003.
Lucy Yen, Litigation. Based in New York, Yen specializes in intellectual property, antitrust, and complex commercial litigation. In addition, she advises clients on Internet-related legal issues. Yen received her J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2002.
