Wilson Legal Solutions Appoints Joan Swain as Vice President of Professional Services

NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa., Feb. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Wilson Legal Solutions, a provider of services to help large and midsize law firms maximize the benefits of technology, recently hired Joan Swain as its vice president of professional services.

Swain will be responsible for building a professional services practice at Wilson Legal Solutions. Areas of specialization will include senior level consulting, project management, software implementation and training, and product upgrades. She will also work with clients to build project teams for high performance.

Swain applies over 25 years of experience in software implementations, financial management, and talent management to her new post. Prior to joining Wilson Legal Solutions, Swain held senior level management positions in both the professional services and program management areas in the IT industry. Previously, she worked with Elite, a Thomson Reuters business, as director of client services and director of global program management. She implemented over 400 software systems for Elite and managed migrations and software upgrades.

Prior to Elite, Swain served as an auditor with Deloitte Touche and held a controller position with a Vancouver-based law firm. She is a professional accountant (CGA), Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Executive Coach (CEC). She also holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration (BBA). She resides in Vancouver, B.C.
