Wilmington Schools and Families to Celebrate School Choice

WILMINGTON, N.C., Jan. 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Erika Merriman, a school leader at Southeastern Autism Academy, will share the school's school choice success story at a rally in celebration of School Choice Week at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 23 at the Cameron Art Museum.

Students and teachers from other types of local schools will enjoy student performances at this celebration. To highlight the event, DJ Svoboda, the creator of My Imagiville (featured on PBS stations across the state), will share his powerful story.

This event is planned to coincide with the history-making celebration of National School Choice Week 2019, which will feature more than 40,000 school choice events across all 50 states.
