Wiggin and Dana Achieves Significant Relief in the Connecticut Appellate Court, RBCA v. SKF USA, Inc.
NEW HAVEN, Conn., Oct. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Wiggin and Dana appellate lawyer Kim Rinehart, assisted by trial lawyers Joseph W. Martini and Matthew C. Brown, scored an important victory on September 30, 2013 in the Connecticut Appellate Court. Kim successfully briefed, argued, and won reversal of the trial court's decision that firm client Roller Bearing Company of America somehow engaged in a course of conduct, without a writing, that worked a modification to an eight-year exclusive supply contract with SKF USA, Inc. Kim also overcame erroneous findings of waiver along the way of winning a new trial on RBCA's claims. RBCA is an international manufacturer of highly engineered precision bearings for the diversified industrial, aerospace, and defense markets.
