WidePoint Subsidiary iSYS Receives New Task Order and Task Order Renewal under the $600 million DHS Cellular Wireless Managed Services Blanket Purchase Agreement
Department of Homeland Security Headquarters renews Task Order, worth $17 million, and a new Task Order is received from DHS Office of Biometric Identity Management (OBIM).
MCLEAN, Va., March 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- WidePoint Corporation (NYSE Mkt: WYY) a leading provider of Managed Mobility Services (MMS) specializing in Cybersecurity and Telecommunications Lifecycle Management (TLM) solutions, announced today that its subsidiary iSYS LLC has received a Task Order renewal from the Department of Homeland Security Headquarters (DHS‑HQ) and a new Task Order from OBIM. Both Task Orders were issued under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cellular Wireless Managed Services (CWMS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The renewal is worth a total of $17 million if all options are exercised and is for one base year worth $5.9 million and two option years. The new order from OBIM is for one base and two option years and a total value of nearly $700,000 if all options are exercised.
