WHX Corporation Announces Results of 2010 Annual Meeting

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Dec. 14, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- WHX Corporation (Nasdaq (CM): WXCO) (the "Company") announced today the results of its 2010 annual meeting of stockholders held on December 9, 2010.

At the annual meeting, stockholders of the Company approved a change of the Company's corporate name from "WHX Corporation" to "Handy & Harman Ltd."  The Company anticipates that the name change will become effective during the week of January 3, 2011 upon the filing with the Delaware Secretary of State of a Certificate of Amendment to the Company's Amended and Restated Certificate of Incorporation.  In connection with the name change, the Company also intends to change its trading symbol on the NASDAQ Capital Market from "WXCO" to "HNH," effective during the week of January 3, 2011.

All other matters presented at the annual meeting were approved by the Company's stockholders.
