Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton, LLP is a full service law firm that has served the legal community since 1927. As an attorney in Sheppard Mullin's San Diego office, Ms. Hodges specializes in land use, environmental compliance, real estate and litigation.
With over eight years of experience, Ms. Hodges assists clients in obtaining development approvals and permits from various local, state and federal agencies, and has successfully guided clients through the myriad of environmental clearances necessary for real estate development. Throughout the court of her career, Ms. Hodges has gained extensive experience representing clients in real estate entitlement and litigation. She has completed several projects, including redevelopment, residential, industrial, commercial, office, alternative energy, infill and mixed-use developments in Southern California, including San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino counties. Ms. Hodges also represents developers and project management in labor issues, including in union negotiations.
To further advance her professional career, Ms. Hodges serves as a committee member for Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and Lawyers Club. Additionally, Ms. Hodges is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and graduate of LEAD San Diego Impact Program. Ms. Hodges also serves as general counsel for the San Diego Humane Society and is a registered lobbyist with the City of San Diego, County of San Diego, San Diego Regional Airport Authority, and the San Diego Port Authority. Ms. Hodges is also an active member of Junior League, volunteering her time at the San Diego Food Bank and Feed San Diego.
Throughout the course of her education and training, Ms. Hodges obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 2010. During her time in law school, Ms. Hodges served as President of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Society and Advocacy Vice Chair and competitor for the Hale Moot Court Honors Program. Prior to obtaining her JD, Ms. Hodges earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California in 2007, graduating with honors.
In recognition of her professional achievements, Ms. Hodges was the recipient of Sheppard Mullin's Bob Gerber Pro Bono Attorney of the Year Award in 2016 and a Herbert G. Klein Memorial Leadership Award Finalist.
