Whiting Petroleum Corporation Announces Pricing of Senior Subordinated Notes Due 2018
DENVER, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Whiting Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: WLL) today announced that it has priced a public offering of $350 million aggregate principal amount of its senior subordinated notes. The notes have an interest rate of 6.5% and will be due on October 1, 2018. Whiting expects to use the net proceeds from this offering to repay a portion of the debt outstanding under its credit agreement.
Banc of America Securities LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC are the joint book-running managers for the offering.
