White Lodging Names Mark Aftanski to Lead Illinois Select Service Hotels as Regional Vice President
MERRILLVILLE, Ind., March 23 /PRNewswire/ -- White Lodging, one of the leading independent hospitality, development and management companies in the United States has appointed Mr. Mark Aftanski to the position of Regional Vice President to oversee operational and financial performances for its select service hotels in Illinois.

Most recently, Mr. Aftanski served as a Regional Vice President with Chicago based Hyatt Corporation. Serving as part of the successful launch team for the Hyatt Place and Hyatt Summerfield Suites brands, his region was presented with the first two Properties of the Year and General Manager of the Year awards. Prior to his Hyatt appointment Mr. Aftanski was a regional director with North Dakota based Tharaldson hotels group where he had oversight responsibility for Marriott and Hilton Products.
