Which Teacher Inspired Your Future?
Zaner-Bloser Celebrates Teachers With A Contest And $5,000 In Grants
COLUMBUS, Ohio, Sept. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- After years of helping teachers achieve their goals of molding young minds, Zaner-Bloser wants to know which teacher inspired you to become an educator. Teachers, principals and administrators across the country in grades K-12 are eligible to write and submit an essay for the Which Teacher Inspired Your Future? contest.
Educators with winning essays will receive one of five $1,000 school grants.
"Many educators are passionate about teaching and inspiring young students to learn because of a special teacher from their past," said Bob Page, president of Zaner-Bloser. "We want to hear those stories about why they became a teacher and who inspired them by making a profound impact on their life."
The essay must be an original, true, and inspirational story written by the entrant. All essays must be 200 words or less.
Essays will be judged by each of the following criteria:
- 40 Percent Originality
- 40 Percent Inspiration
- 20 Percent Style
The contest is underway. Visit http://www.whichteacherinspiredyourfuturecontest.com to read the official rules and enter the contest. All entries must be received by November 4, 2013, and winners will be announced in January 2014.
"This is a great contest for educators to share their stories about the person who energized them to seek out a career in education and to make an impact on the lives of so many students," said Page. "We look forward to reading and sharing these inspirational stories."
