Austria had 590 UHNW individuals in 2014 with a combined net worth of US$90 billion. It ranks 18th among European nations in terms of UHNW population size, according to the same report.
Alex Story, Wealth-X's Head of Business Development, Germany and Austria commented: "With the summer holiday coming to an end, ambitious students will be interested to see which universities have provided, historically, the best platform for business success."
"We see a nice North vs South split in the top 10. However, no universities from the East are currently represented. That may change with the rise of start-ups in and around Berlin," he added.
