Analyst Update: Financial Results, Upcoming Investor Conferences, and Acquisitions

U.S. stocks fell on Wednesday as disappointing US economic data weighed on investor sentiment. The NASDAQ Composite slipped 0.63% to 5,023.64, the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.41%, to close at 18,035.53, and the S&P 500 ended the session at 2,106.85, down 0.37%. European stocks stumbled on Wednesday caused by a sharp surge in the value of the euro against US dollar. Germany's DAX 30 witnessed the biggest point decline since October 2008, down 378.94 points, or 3.21%. Also, France's CAC 40, and London's FTSE 100 dropped 2.6% and 1.2%, respectively on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Asian markets mostly closed lower on Wednesday. Australia's S&P ASX and Hong Kong's Hang Seng index both slipped on Wednesday, while the Shanghai Composite Index saw modest gains. The Nikkei was closed on Wednesday due to the annual Showa Day holiday.
E-Commerce China Dangdang (Dangdang), on March 31, 2015 announced its unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended December 31, 2014. Net Income for the fourth quarter of 2014 was RMB32.8 million, up 51.4% YoY. Total net revenues were RMB2,505.0 million in Q4 2014, a 27.0% YoY increase compared to the same period in 2013.
Potbelly Corporation (Potebelly) on April 22, 2015 announced that its executives will participate in three upcoming investor conferences in next two months. First, the Company will present at the Baird Growth Stock Conference at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago, on May 6, 2015.
INC Research reported its first quarter 2015 results on April 27, 2015. Net service revenue increased by 14.5% YoY to $211.5 million in Q1 2015, led by surge in new business awards over the last 18 months, lower cancellation rate of previously awarded business and favorable revenue mix. Income from operations rose to $32.4 million in Q1 2015, up 122.1% YoY, while operating margin improved to 15.3% in Q1 2015, from 7.9% in Q1 2014.
Globus Maritime (Globus), on April 27, 2015 reported its unaudited consolidated operating and financial results for Q4 2014 and year ended December 31, 2014. Total comprehensive income for Q4 2014 was $3.2 million or $0.30 basic earnings per share, compared to $4.3 million or $0.40 basic earnings per share in Q4 2013.
According to Bloomberg report, EnviroStar, on March 9, 2015 reported that Symmetric Capital LLC, a Florida limited liability company, controlled by Henry Nahmad has acquired a majority shares of common stock in EnviroStar owned by of Michael Steiner's, (President and CEO) and Robert Steiner's, his brother.
