In lieu of traditional holiday spending, Nexsen Pruet is donating to the North Carolina Farm Bureau Foundation's Florence Relief Fund and the South Carolina Farm Bureau to help the industry recover from the estimated $1.2 billion in damages caused by the hurricanes.
"Through the Give the Gift to Grow Again campaign – and with the support of our clients, friends, and the community – we can unite this holiday season to help an industry that has given so much to the economies of North and South Carolina," said Leighton Lord, Chairman of the Board of Nexsen Pruet. "We couldn't be more grateful to offer financial assistance during this important time of need and ask that other business and community leaders help us as we work to keep this industry growing."

This includes $986.6 million in row crop losses, $69.6 million in forestry losses, $30 million in green industry losses, $26.8 million in vegetable crop losses, and $23.1 million in livestock, poultry, and aquaculture losses.
