Wheeling Elks to Start Just for Kids (JFK)

CHICAGO, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- With some help from the Elks National Foundation, the charitable arm of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, the Wheeling Elks' Just for Kids program will fight hunger among school-aged children by hosting them once a week for a wholesome meal. Featured community members will attend as guests so children can become aware of and get involved in their community.

Just for Kids will be funded by an Impact Grant awarded to the Wheeling Elks by the Elks National Foundation. Impact Grants are the newest addition to the Elks National Foundation's Community Investments Program. They are competitive grants designed to help Elks make a difference in their community. This year, Wheeling Elks Lodge No. 28 is one of 49 recipients nationwide to receive an Impact Grant. The grants range from $2,500 to $10,000.
