Analyst Update: Operational Results, Production Updates, Merger Speculation, Public Offering, and Scheduled Earnings Release

U.S. stocks fell on Wednesday as disappointing US economic data weighed on investor sentiment. The NASDAQ Composite slipped 0.63% to 5,023.64, the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.41%, to close at 18,035.53, and the S&P 500 ended the session at 2,106.85, down 0.37%. European stocks stumbled on Wednesday caused by a sharp surge in the value of the euro against US dollar. Germany's DAX 30 witnessed the biggest point decline since October 2008, down 378.94 points, or 3.21%. Also, France's CAC 40, and London's FTSE 100 dropped 2.6% and 1.2%, respectively on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Asian markets mostly closed lower on Wednesday. Australia's S&P ASX and Hong Kong's Hang Seng index both slipped on Wednesday, while the Shanghai Composite Index saw modest gains. The Nikkei was closed on Wednesday due to the annual Showa Day holiday.
Endeavour Silver Corporation posted strong silver and gold production results in Q1 2015. On April 8, 2015, the Company reported strong production numbers from its three operating silver mines in Mexico: the Guanaceví mine in Durango State and the Bolañitos and El Cubo mines in Guanajuato State.
On April 27, 2015, Bloomberg reported that shares of PetroChina Co. and China Petroleum & Chemical Corp., China's two largest oil explorers ended the day significantly higher on speculation that the government is considering consolidating the industry.
Asanko Gold Inc. came out with a construction update on its gold mine in Ghana. The announcement made by the Company on April 9, 2015 says that project construction continues to advance rapidly and is on schedule with 43% of the overall project complete, as at the end of March 2015.
On March 24, 2015, Tantech Holdings Ltd announced the pricing of its IPO of 3,200,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $4 per share for a total of $12,800,000 before offering expenses.
Northwest Pipe Company announced that it intends to release first quarter 2015 results after market close on May 5, 2015. In the announcement that the Company made on April 22, 2015, it also mentioned that a teleconference call is scheduled on May 6, 2015 to discuss the financial results.
