WHAT: Men's Health Network and the Congressional Men's Health Caucus to cohost educational briefing, "Emerging Research in Head Injuries: What's Happening to Our War and Sports Heroes?" The briefing will feature a presentation by Dr. Ann McKee who will present new research on Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE), a neurodegenerative disease potentially linked to repeated brain trauma.
Following the presentation will be a panel discussion on the future of CTE research and the direction Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) research may take in order to better understand the potential effects head injuries have on our soldiers and athletes.
