Analyst Update: Brokerage Reports, and Financial Results.

U.S. stocks closed lower on Monday as investors turned cautious ahead of the Fed meeting, which begins today. The NASDAQ Composite was down 0.63% to finish at 5,060.25, the S&P 500 slipped 0.41% to 2108.92, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.23% to end the session at 18,037.97. European stocks gained on Monday as Greece considered reshuffling its debt negotiators. Germany's DAX 30 jumped 1.93%; France's CAC 40 rose 1.30%, and London's FTSE 100 advanced 0.47% on Monday. Meanwhile, Asian stock markets mostly gained on Monday amid surge in mining stocks in Australia and emanating news on possible reforms in China. The Shanghai Composite Index, Australia's S&P ASX and Hong Kong's Hang Seng index all closed higher on Monday.
In an article dated April 9, 2015, American Banking and Market news discussed a report on Aegean Marine Petroleum Network by Zacks. According to the article, Aegean earned an average broker rating score of 1 (Strong Buy) from four analysts that provide coverage of the Company.
Weatherford International Plc. reported its financial results for Q1 on April 22, 2015. The Company reported a net loss before charges of $33 million or a $0.04 net loss per share (non-GAAP) on revenues of $2.79 billion for the first quarter of 2015, which was sequentially down 25%.
On April 13, 2015, Ur-Energy Inc. reported its operational results for the first quarter. The Company announced that for a sixth straight quarter, its Lost Creek Project made sales to meet its contractual commitments. This included product sales of 146,000 pounds U3O8, which were sold at an average price of $50.55 per pound.
Uranerz Energy Corporation came out with its Q4 and 2014 year-end financial results on March 16, 2015. For Q4, Uranerz reported net sales of $6.1 million and $10.0 million for the year. Basic and diluted net loss per share stood at $0.01 per share compared to $0.10 in the previous quarter last year. Full year earnings were at $0.13 in 2014 versus $0.33 in 2013.
On April 23, 2015, the Company reported its Q1 financial results. According to the report, Syntel's revenue for the first quarter increased 1% YoY to $220.6 million from $219.5 million in the prior-year period, and declined 6% from $235.3 million in the fourth quarter of 2014.
