LONDON, Oct. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Nearly 80% of the ultra wealthy population in the United Kingdom amassed their fortunes through astute entrepreneurship, while just 13% inherited their wealth, a Wealth-X and UBS study reveals.
The report shows that the UK has 11,510 ultra high net worth (UHNW) individuals (defined as those with US$30 million and above in net assets) with a combined net worth of US$1.4 trillion. This makes it the European country with the second-largest UHNW population, behind Germany.
