What are Today's Hot Jobs? Is a New Job the Direct Route to Getting a Raise?
24 Seven Annual Talent Survey Wants to Know
NEW YORK, Feb. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Last year the number one factor impacting job satisfaction was salary -- and to get more money -- 9 out of 10 workers said they were willing to look outside their current jobs for better pay.
So what happened in 2012? Is salary still the driving force of satisfaction? Or is the state of the economy making keeping a job the most important thing for today's workforce? 24 Seven is now fielding its 4th annual Salary & Job Market Study survey and wants to know what today's employees, managers and CEO's believe are the most important aspects of the workplace today.
The survey looks at jobs across a wide variety of industries that include retail, marketing, fashion, beauty, creative, digital and more. Many of the categories intersect, providing an in depth view of what it takes to stay relevant and highly paid in today's competitive workplace. In addition to uncovering compensation trends, the study examines workplace culture shifts, as well as attitudes and behaviors of job seekers and hiring managers.
24 Seven received responses from over 5,000 individuals across the country last year and is hoping to increase responses this year. Responders are encouraged to let their voice be heard and tell the industry what's important and what makes a job both fulfilling and worth holding onto. All responses are confidential and will be reported only as an aggregate. The link to the survey questionnaire https://s2.inavero.com/index.php?sid=19412&lang=en&19412X1808X15724=2&token=24Seven
