WGU, TechAmerica Join to Help Members Earn IT, Business Degrees Online
Online university offers application fee waiver, tuition discounts, and scholarship opportunities to employees of TechAmerica's 1,000 member companies
SALT LAKE CITY, June 27, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Western Governors University and TechAmerica have announced a partnership that will make it even more affordable for individuals to earn one of WGU's 13 online bachelor's degrees and four online master's degrees in the Information Technology and Business colleges.
Under the partnership, TechAmerica members are entitled to a $65 application fee waiver, 5 percent off WGU's already affordable tuition, and the opportunity to apply for one of twenty $2,500 WGU TechAmerica Scholarships. These competitive scholarships, which can be used in addition to the 5 percent tuition discount, provide recipients with a $500 tuition credit each term, renewable for up to five terms.
