SEATTLE, Nov. 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Weyerhaeuser Company (NYSE: WY) today announced that its board of directors has declared a dividend of $0.32 per share on the common stock of the company, reflecting a 3.2 percent increase from the prior quarterly dividend of $0.31 per share.
The dividend is payable in cash on December 15, 2017 to holders of record of such common stock as of the close of business on December 1, 2017.
"We are focused on returning cash to shareholders as we continue to improve our operating performance and capitalize on market conditions," said Doyle R. Simons, president and CEO. "With today's announcement, we have increased our dividend six times since 2011, consistent with our commitment to a growing and sustainable dividend."
