Weston Agent Wins REALTOR® Spirit Award

BOSTON, July 3, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Joanne Taranto, a sales agent at Gibson Sotheby's International Realty in Weston, was presented with the REALTOR® Spirit Award at the Greater Boston Association of REALTORS® (GBAR) Annual Awards Brunch held on June 18 at The Museum of Science in Boston. Taranto's can-do attitude and loyalty, honesty, and dependability with both colleagues and consumers makes her a deserving recipient of this honor.

The REALTOR® Spirit Award was created to acknowledge the unsung heroes of the REALTOR® organization. These individuals pay much attention to their business, where they make a difference in the lives of their colleagues, clients, and customers. They have strong professional ethics, a cooperative spirit, and a willingness to share personal knowledge, industry experience, and personal time to help others succeed in their careers.

Self-motivated, customer service oriented, and results-driven, Taranto excels at effectively listening, communications, and counseling buyers and sellers, as well as younger REALTORS® seeking professional advice as they begin their real estate careers. Most notably, she has set aside personal time to help mentor new sales associates in her office – teaching them how to develop a business plan, assisting with implementation of marketing and prospecting strategies, and coaching them on the nuances of negotiations.
