Airline welcomes egg-traordinary number of guests to start the Easter holiday
CALGARY, April 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ - WestJet today announced it will fly 54,254 guests today, setting a new single-day record for the airline. The previous record, set on February 26, 2012, saw 52,992 guests fly across the airline's network.
The new single-day record comes as Canadians enjoy an extended weekend in celebration of Easter.
