Westinghouse N-Vision Speakers Bureau Announces Winners of "Forms of Energy" Video Contest
PITTSBURGH, June 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Westinghouse Electric Company today announced the winning entries for its N-Vision Forms of Energy video contest.
McKeesport High School in McKeesport, Pa. (USA), submitted the winning video in the high school category. St. Patrick Middle School in Canonsburg, Pa. (USA), submitted the winning video in the middle school category. Student members of the winning teams were awarded $100 for school supplies, and their schools each received $3000 to be put to use toward their science programs.
Administered through the company's speaker's bureau, N-Vision, the contest is designed to encourage young persons to think about energy in the context of worldwide political, economic and environmental realities.
As a part of the contest, students in middle and high school were asked to prepare a three- to seven-minute video on the positive aspects of nuclear energy as well as two other forms of energy. Videos could be staged as a commercial, news broadcast, talk show, music video, documentary or in another creative manner.

The Westinghouse N-Vision program encourages education of youth in science, technology and mathematics.
