Westinghouse Appoints Joe Zwetolitz as Vice President in the Company's Americas Region
PITTSBURGH, , April 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Westinghouse Electric Company today appointed Joe Zwetolitz as vice president, Americas, effective May 2, 2011. The appointment is part of the company's ongoing effort to provide excellence in business and operational areas.
In this role, Mr. Zwetolitz will be responsible for project delivery, customer relationships and business development for all product lines in support of the company's Canadian customers (AECL, Bruce Power, Hydro-Quebec and Ontario Power Generation). He will also lead the strategy function for the Westinghouse Americas region.
Mr. Zwetolitz joins Westinghouse from AREVA NP Inc., where he was senior vice president, North American Reactors and Services Group. He has more than 22 years of experience in the nuclear energy industry. He also supports the industry as a member of the Nuclear Power Advisory Board for Penn State University, from which he graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He holds an M.B.A. from Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Va. (USA).
Mr. Zwetolitz will be located at the company's Cranberry Township, Pa. (USA), headquarters and will report to Jim Ferland, president of the Westinghouse Americas Region.
