Westinghouse Appoints Bruce Bevilacqua as Vice President in the Company’s Americas Region
PITTSBURGH, April 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Westinghouse Electric Company today announced a key organizational appointment in the company’s ongoing effort to provide excellence in business and operational areas.
Bruce Bevilacqua has been named vice president, Americas. In this position, Mr. Bevilacqua will be responsible for project delivery, customer relationships and business development for all product lines in support of AEP, Dominion, Exelon, PPL Susquehanna LLC, PSEG and Xcel Energy.
Mr. Bevilacqua will draw on the experience he gained in his previous position as vice president, New Plants Engineering, where he led the design efforts in support of the AP1000® technology. Prior to that, he served as president, WesDyne, and held multiple leadership roles within the Westinghouse Field Services and Engineering Services organizations.
Mr. Bevilacqua will be located at the company’s Cranberry Township, Pa. (USA), headquarters and will report to Jim Ferland, president of the Westinghouse Americas Region, who said that the appointment was instrumental in meeting customers’ needs.
