Westinghouse Announces Appointment of Bob Hook as Controller for Nuclear Fuel Product Line
PITTSBURGH, July 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Westinghouse Electric Company today announced the appointment of Bob Hook as controller for Westinghouse's Nuclear Fuel organization, effective September 1, 2011. In this role, Mr. Hook will have responsibility for all finance and reporting activities for the company's Nuclear Fuel product line.
Mr. Hook most recently served as the controller for the Field Services segment of the Nuclear Services product line. In this role, he led financial plan development; coordinated the financial aspects of projects in the United States, Belgium and France; and provided leadership and direction on numerous strategic opportunities for the Field Services organization.
Mr. Hook joined Westinghouse in 2000 as a tax director before serving as a controller in the company's former Repair, Replacement and Automation Services business unit. Prior to joining Westinghouse, Mr. Hook held tax management or partner positions with such firms as KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP; Holsinger, Stemler, Hook & Associates, P.C.; and Ernst & Young. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from West Virginia University (WVU) and a law degree, also from WVU. He is a certified public accountant.
Mr. Hook will replace Jim McCully, who has announced his intention to retire from the company in October after nearly 40 years of service. Mr. Hook will be located in the company's Cranberry Township, Pa. (USA) headquarters and will report to Joe Belechak, senior vice president of the Nuclear Fuel product line, who said of the appointment: "Continuing strong financial leadership is crucial to our success.
