Westgate Resorts Provides Free Temporary Housing to Victims Displaced by Mount Charleston Wildfires

LAS VEGAS, July 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Westgate Resorts has teamed up with the American Red Cross to offer free temporary housing at Westgate Flamingo Bay Resort to victims displaced by the Carpenter 1 wildfire at Mount Charleston that covered nearly 28,000 acres. Over the past few days, Westgate has welcomed nine evacuated families to stay in the fully furnished villas at its Las Vegas resort.

Most of the nine families that are temporarily residing at Westgate Flamingo Bay have brought along their pets and the resort is an ideal accommodation for them since many area hotels do not accept pets or have smaller guestrooms. In addition to providing spacious one- and two-bedroom villas for these guests, Westgate is also providing the families with access to free activities at its Activities Center, welcome baskets and any essential toiletries the guests may be missing.

Each of the oversized villas at Westgate Flamingo Bay Resort features fully equipped kitchens, queen sleeper sofas, dining areas and jetted tubs.
