Western Digital My Net® Routers Use NetSTAR's inCompass Cloud Solution to Provide Parental Control and Web Security Features

SAN MATEO, Calif., July 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- NetSTAR, Inc., a global leader in secure Web filtering today announced that WD®'s recently launched My Net routers are using NetSTAR's inCompass® Cloud service to provide their comprehensive parental control and Web security solution.
With NetSTAR's inCompass technology integrated into the My Net routers, and as part of a Cloud-based solution, users will not be required to install any software on any of their devices. Instead, all devices using the network via the My Net router will be able to benefit from the parental control and Web security features. Network administrators will be able to control the level of security imposed on the network via any Web browser anywhere in the world. Features include multiple security levels, time-of-day policies, white lists, black lists, and per device policies.
