TEMPE, Ariz., June 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Western Dental Services, Inc., is bringing more of its affordable, high-quality dental and orthodontic care to metropolitan Phoenix with the opening of a new office in Tempe.

Conveniently located in the East Valley, the Tempe office at 1080 W. Elliot Road is designed to offer the ultimate in convenience and quality care to patients of all ages. Easily accessed from Interstate 10, the Tempe Western Dental office bundles orthodontics and general, cosmetic and specialty dentistry under one roof for easy scheduling and treatment.

To introduce the Tempe staff to area residents, the Tempe Western Dental will host a grand opening celebration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., July 7. The family-friendly event will feature free food and drinks, children's activities such as face painting, free T-shirts, prizes, dental goodie bags and a remote radio broadcast by KZZP (104.7-FM).

During the event, parents of children ages 1 to 8 years old can schedule free dental screenings.

The new Western Dental office was designed to make oral health care convenient and accessible for patients of all ages. The office features a waiting-room play area and offers extended evening and weekend hours for busy families.

Dr. Eric Maurer has been appointed managing dentist for the Tempe office; Dr. Chad Foster for the orthodontics. Aulani Hernandez is office manager.
