Westcon Group Brings Portfolio of Hardware Bundles for Microsoft Lync to North America

TARRYTOWN, N.Y., Sept. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Westcon Group, a value-added distributor of category-leading unified communications, network infrastructure, data centre and security solutions with a global network of specialty resellers, today announced it will now offer solutions, bundles, and services of hardware for the Microsoft® Lync® deployments in North America. The move comes only a few months after similar offerings were made available across EMEA.

Westcon's Hardware Catalogue for Lync brings together tested and qualified phones, gateways, video and USB devices for partners. This enables both partners and customers to take advantage of the broad choice, price range and variety of hardware solutions for Lync – in a simpler and more efficient way.

As part of the agreement, Westcon will provide bundles and special offers of hardware qualified for Lync. These incremental per-product and multi-unit purchase discounts and bundles are available not only to current Westcon partners, but also to Microsoft's community of former Voice Specialized Partners and Gold and Silver Communications Competency Partners via the Lync Hardware Catalogue. Westcon's inaugural bundle will include technologies from Polycom, AudioCodes, Jabra, and Acme Packet.
