West USA Realty Cares Is Making a Difference With Local Pet Rescue

PHOENIX, Dec. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Over 200 West USA Realty Agents attended the 3rd Annual Giving Gala charity event on October 19, 2017 at the Phoenix Zoo in Tempe, Arizona. West USA Realty Cares, a nonprofit division created by West USA Realty Real Estate Agents, featured Lost Our Home Foundation Pet Rescue as the benefactor of the charity event. The event raised money by Casino Gambling, Entry and Silent Auction items. West USA Realty Cares Director, CarrieLynn Mason, presented silent auction items, which included a five-pack of tickets to the Zoo Lights, ASU Gammage, a Coyote's game, a Cardinals game and more.

"Our 3rd Annual Giving Gala, Gambling at the Zoo, was a huge success, and everyone who attended went above and beyond to show their support for West USA Realty Cares. The funds raised at this event will be able to make such a difference in giving, helping and supporting our communities going into 2018 and to the Lost Our Home Foundation Pet Rescue. Lost Our Home Foundation Pet Rescue was founded in 2008 as a grassroots response to the thousands of pets in need as a result of the economic downturn and Phoenix-area foreclosure crisis. During that time, many pets were abandoned in foreclosed homes, often times without food or water. In the past eight years, Lost Our Home Foundation Pet Rescue has grown to become an integral part of the community, delivering not only life-changing, but also life-saving programs that no other animal rescue organization is doing. Since 2008, they have helped over 20,000 pets; 3,800 of those pets were placed in new loving homes, 16,000+ hungry pets were fed through their Pet Food Bank, and over 650 pets were reunited with their families after a crisis!
