Fine, MD, FACS, one of the nation's leading board certified breast surgeons to its premier team which includes Michael P. Berry, MD, FACS, and Roy M. Oswaks, MD. As former Director of Advanced Breast Care in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Fine is an innovative pioneer in the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases with extensive experience in new breast biopsy methods. As one of the first surgeons in the U.S. to perform image-guided breast biopsies, Fine has been on the forefront of women's breast health for over two decades.

A native of Atlanta, Fine received his Medical Degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and completed an internship and residency in general surgery at Rush-Presbyterian-St Luke's Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois. Upon completion of his residency in 1988, he elected to specialize in breast surgery which was a rare surgical specialty at the time.
A noted lecturer, educator, and thought leader regarding the use of ultrasound and image-guided technology, Dr. Fine has published numerous articles related to stereotactic and ultrasound core needle biopsy. He has served on the Boards of both the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the National Consortium of Breast Centers and is also a past President of the American Society of Breast Surgeons. He currently serves on the Board of the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers and was appointed to be a Governor of the American College of Surgeons to represent the American Society of Breast Surgeons. In 1996, he was appointed by Governor Zell Miller to Georgia's Cancer Advisory Committee and actively participates in numerous professional and community organizations.
