West Cary Group Wins International Summit Creative Award

RICHMOND, Va., June 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- West Cary Group, an award-winning marketing communications and advertising agency headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, has been honored with a 2012 Summit Creative Award (SCA) by the Summit International Awards (SIA) organization. The firm received a silver award in the Government Website category for its redesign work on the Henrico Economic Development Authority (EDA) website, Henrico.com.

West Cary Group dove deeply into the website's data, and the resulting analysis guided the redesign. Informed improvements were made to the site's architecture, content and navigation so that the most sought-after information became easier for visitors to access.

Additional site upgrades included an interactive map on the home page, as well as design elements that visually complemented the EDA's new marketing materials and its digital newsletter Henrico Now—both designed by West Cary Group. The combination of analytical rigor and compelling creative is what impressed the SIA panel of judges, which included professionals from marketing agencies worldwide.

The Summit Creative Award was established in 1994 to recognize creative agencies internationally. The competition offers participants a chance to showcase their talents and have their work judged by advertising experts. Companies and individuals from more than 50 countries and five continents have participated in this prestigious competition.
