West Cary Group Reinvests in Community with Office Expansion in Monroe Ward

RICHMOND, Va., Feb. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- West Cary Group, an award-winning marketing communications and advertising agency headquartered in downtown Richmond, Virginia, is pleased to announce that it will be expanding its Monroe Ward headquarters. The firm's new addition is located at 10 West Cary Street, directly across the street from its original office, in an historic building erected in 1876.

"When I started West Cary Group in Monroe Ward in 2007," says Moses Foster, West Cary Group President and CEO, "I saw a once-thriving area that for various reasons had slipped from public consciousness. But I also saw an opportunity to instill some life back into one of Richmond's finest, most diverse communities—West Cary Group's community."

Part of that reinvestment means not remodeling, but restoring the 137-year-old structure that West Cary Group will call its second home. Renovations began in the fall of 2011, and the agency took special care to preserve the historical integrity of the building—which features beautiful original hardwood flooring, original wrought iron gatework and stunning 10-foot windows—while adding the modern technology needed to power a full-service communications firm.
