West Carolina Tel Deploying Alcatel-Lucent's Triple Play Express for IPTV Services in South Carolina
ABBEVILLE, S.C. and PARIS, Nov. 22, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Beginning January 1, 2011, nearly 15,000 residents of South Carolina will have access to cutting edge IPTV services and ultra-fast high speed video and data thanks to a Triple Play Express solution being deployed by West Carolina Tel. West Carolina Tel is deploying Alcatel-Lucent's Triple Play Express, which is designed to bring to a comprehensive, pre-integrated voice, video and data solution to regional, local and independent service providers.
West Carolina Tel signals the market opportunity for TPE that exists in this market segment. To address this market, Alcatel-Lucent developed the TPE solution specifically to meet the unique needs of these operators.
