Wes McIlrath named as opening general manager of the Hilton Garden Inn Salt Lake City Airport

MERRILLVILLE, Ind., May 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- White Lodging Services is pleased to announce Wes McIlrath has been named as the general manager of the Hilton Garden Inn Salt Lake City Airport, scheduled to open later this year.

In his new role, McIlrath will initially focus on the hotel's opening and building a strong management team. He said he is also looking forward to providing excellent service in a clean and comfortable atmosphere for guests.

McIlrath started at the Hilton Garden Inn St. George, located in St. George, UT, when it opened as the assistant manager, and became its general manager in 2007. In 2011, McIlrath played an integral role in ensuring the successful acquisitions of the Hilton Garden Inn Omaha and Scottsdale properties.

The 172-room Hilton Garden Inn Salt Lake City Airport is scheduled to open in late 2012. The six-story building will offer 3,000 square feet of meeting space and is only a short drive from the Salt Palace Convention Center.
