LAS VEGAS, Dec. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Experience Specialists (GES), a global full service provider for live events announced that Wendy Gibson has joined GES as executive vice president of global marketing. Gibson is an accomplished B-to-B marketing leader with a high-tech background and brings 25 years of managing all aspects of marketing, including branding, lead generation, product marketing, corporate marketing, digital, social and business development. As EVP of Global Marketing, Gibson is responsible for driving GES' global brand and marketing strategies, including leading MarketWorks, GES' strategy and marketing advisory service.

Most recently, Gibson was vice president of marketing at Mitel, a global market leader in enterprise and mobile communications. Prior to joining Mitel, she was chief marketing officer at BenefitMall and Zimbra (formerly Telligent), and served as vice president of business development and vice president of product marketing at Oracle. Gibson started her career at Sabre and during her 10 years there she held various sales and marketing positions and helped to transform the way people procure travel through online and mobile devices.
