Wellspring Promotes Dr. Paula M. Santos to Corporate Clinical Director
LOS ANGELES, March 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Wellspring promoted Dr. Paula M. Santos, Psy.D., BCBA-D to Corporate Clinical Director. Paula has made significant contributions to the Wellspring organization with her clinical expertise and her willingness to do whatever is needed to help a client succeed. In Paula's new role, she will provide clinical governance to the autism treatment offices and spearhead the clinical protocols of the Provider Network.

As Corporate Clinical Director, Paula will oversee the clinical directors in the treatment offices and administer to the national network of independent providers that treat patients with autism across the United States. Some of her new responsibilities include: developing parameters of clinical protocol for the Network, working with state advocacy groups to include providers on implementation of mandates, and delivering reports to insurance companies.
Paula has worked for more than 9 years in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and has unique dual training in behaviorism as well as clinical psychology including child development and emotional disorders.
Paula graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She studied for a BA Honors at the University of Port Elizabeth and worked with children and families in South Africa from 2000-2001 as a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar. Paula completed a Master's in 2005 and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2007 at the California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles where she now teaches graduate level courses on ethics and law, and multiculturalism. She completed her ABA coursework through the University of West Florida where she also now teaches. Paula became a BCBA in November 2007 and BCBA-D in June 2009. Paula is also a Registered Psychologist who works in private practice in Inglewood, California with the Consulting Collective. Paula is a member of APA, ABAI, and CalABA.
