BETHESDA, Md., Oct. 22, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Wellness Corporate Solutions (WCS), the award-winning provider of employee wellness programs, announces two new senior team members ready to expand our mission to help employees live healthy and work well.
WCS welcomes John Whall to the team as WCS's Chief Operating Officer. Whall has over a decade of experience in corporate wellness, and a combined 27 years of experience in enterprise systems, software consulting, and digital products. He was a member of the startup team at LiveHealthier; after LiveHealthier was acquired by Centene in 2015, he ran the Product Development/IT department and then the commercial market Client Services department, managing a portfolio of 800 clients and over $50 million in revenue.
As part of WCS's ongoing commitment to offering clients seamless, high-impact technology, Whall will be able to focus on our digital products while also overseeing our Logistics, Staffing, and Full Circle teams.
"I'm grateful to bring my experience to such an innovative team with an incredible reputation in this industry," Whall says. "We have a huge opportunity to engage hundreds of thousands more employees across the country around their wellbeing, building thriving workplaces and inspiring healthy, happy individuals."
Daniel Clevenger will be the new Vice President of Screening Operations at WCS. Clevenger is currently a Director of Screening Services who has been with WCS for six years and overseen a client portfolio that has grown 1400% over his tenure. He manages many of the company's strategic partnerships, and has played a key role in many of our innovations, including ScreenSMART and WellConnect Plus. In this role, he will continue to lead partner relationships and also oversee our high-tech, high-touch biometric screening and flu shot programs. Clevenger has a Master of Science degree in Health and Exercise Science from Wake Forest University, and has worked with private and public sector clients ranging in size from 200 to over 130,000 employees.
"Daniel has been an incredible go-to person for our partners, direct clients, and WCS team members for years," says Emily Roberts, President of WCS. "He knows our business inside and out, and has constantly improved our ability to implement the highest-rated screening programs."
Susan Torroella, former Executive Vice President of Screening Operations, transitioned out of her role at WCS last week. She brought an outstanding record of leadership to WCS, and her four years here helped position the company as a true leader and innovator in the industry.
WCS is completing its 14th straight year of consecutive growth, and broke records for the highest number of employees screened on a single day in its history this month. "We are thrilled to have Daniel and John stepping into these roles," says Roberts. "They bring a wealth of energy, experience, and vision that will help usher WCS into an even more exciting phase."
