If you live in an area that has experienced recent flooding, your well could be contaminated from pollutants carried by floodwater. The wellcare® Well Owners Network has the following materials available for download online to help well owners deal with flooded or storm-damaged wells:

Water well testing is imperative for bacteria and other contaminants that could pose a health risk to households served by wells that have been recently flooded or damaged by the storm.
