Weleda Announces Partnership Benefiting Whole Planet Foundation

NEW YORK, Feb. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Weleda, pioneers of 100% certified-natural skin care, announces its nationwide partnership with Whole Planet Foundation. Weleda will host giveaways to help raise funds for the nonprofit during its 2013 Prosperity Campaign.

Whole Planet Foundation funds poverty alleviation through grants to microfinance institutions in the U.S. and 54 countries. The foundation funds small loans that empower impoverished individuals with a chance to start a business.

To raise money for Whole Planet Foundation's 2013 Prosperity Campaign, starting on March 1, Weleda will hold a Daily Giveaway at usa.Weleda.com/DailyGiveaway, educating consumers on product benefits, natural ingredients and its fair-trade partnerships. During March, consumers will have the chance to enter and win a variety of Weleda products daily. For each giveaway entry submitted, Weleda will contribute $1 to Whole Planet Foundation.
